- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 onions chopped fine
- 3 stalks celery chopped
- *green pepper diced (optional)
- .5 tsp Worchestershire Sauce
- .5 tsp dry mustard
- .5 tsp. powdered cloves
- .5 tsp chcili powder
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pickle relish
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 2 tbsp corn starch (to thicken if necessary)
Preparation:
Saute the first four ingredients until meat loses its red color. Add rest of ingredients (except cornstarch). Simmer 30 minutes and add cornstarch to thicken, if necessary. Yield: 20 sandwiches on buns
