Meal-In-One Casserole

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 mdm chopped onion
  • 1 mdm green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (15 1/4 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can (4 oz) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 jar (11 oz) salsa
  • 5 cups uncooked mdm egg noodles
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese or blend
In skillet, cook beef and onion over mdm heat til meat is no longer pink; drain.  Transfer to a slow cooker.  Top with the green pepper, corn and mushrooms.  Sprinkle with salt and papper.  Pour salsa over mushrooms.  Top with noodles.  Pour tomatoes and water over all.  Sprinkle with cheese.  Cover and cook on low for 4 hrs or til noodles are tender.  4-6 svgs.
